Hi, my name is Jo and I am a fibre artist and workshop teacher from Lincolnshire and I run Entangles

I first discovered felting over 20 years ago but then discovered the therapeutic properties of wool and felting when my daughter had cancer almost 10 years ago now.

I am self taught but have been lucky to have taken both in person and online workshops with some amazing artists.

I am still discovering more and more techniques and ways that wool can be used within my art and wearables. I am busy creating new pieces to bring to the gathering

Primarily a feltmaker using both needle felting and traditional wet felting techniques but I also have added spinning and weaving to my skills. I love to share the magical things that can be created with wool and will be offering some beginner friendly needle felting workshops at the Eden Wool Gathering.

I visited the Eden Wool Gathering last year with my daughter, who is now in remission, and it was like coming home. We absolutely loved it and I was thrilled to be asked to take part this year. My daughter, Rosie, will be helping me and we cannot wait to meet you all.
