Hi, I'm Maryjean, also known as Made With Fluff Fibre Crafts. I am a Fibre Artist and tutor based in Girvan, South Ayrshire.

I picked up needlefelting whilst on Maternity leave with my youngest son, and it soon snowballed into a passion for all things wool and fibre and I am lucky to have learned from some fabulous tutors both locally and online as well as informally from fellow wool enthusiasts!

I love the versitility and sculptural properties of wool, it is such an accessible medium and

the alchemy of transforming loose wool fibre into solid sculptural forms and durable fabric is magic to behold.

My work is inspired by the diverse wildlife and eco systems of South West Scotland, often incorporating items found while walking the shores of Ayrshire and Galloway.

I am beyond excited to be bringing my needle felted menagerie to Eden Wool Gathering this year for the first time

I attended the gathering last year as a visitor with my family, and was blown away by the warm and welcoming atmosphere The whole place was buzzing with people sharing their skills and their love of all things wool... A really magical experience!

So to be going this year to share my creations and passion for needle felting with others is a bit of a dream come true!
