I've lived in the very south of the Machars for 14 years, and it was only when living up here that I 'discovered' I could paint! I began with acrylics on canvas, which I really enjoyed ~ as did other people, it turned out!

Then, 3 years ago, I was introduced to the wonder that is painting on glass.

Well, I was hooked from the off.

Now I paint exclusively on glass/ acrylic, with water based glass paints.

I love to paint nature-based art mostly ~ from seascapes, landscapes, animals and birds, but also lighthouses, old buildings and even a diesel locomotive as a commission!

I love colour and texture, and my kind of painting allows me so much freedom in these areas.
