Textile Artist Wendy Ann Stanger used a wide range of techniques and processes within her work, from eco printing with plant dyed fabrics to handmade fibre papers and wet felted vessels.

Often incorporated within her work will be dried or pressed plants and flowers, many of which she grows from seed at her garden studio near Gretna.

Her love of all things plants is evident in many of her fabric collage pieces and fibre paper landscapes. Working into these pieces using free motion machine embroidery and hand stitch to embellish the surfaces adds further textured detail.

Her open studio at Farfield Mill offers many of her works for sale, from small felted vessels and brooches to large vintage style lampshades and wall hangings.

Wendy Ann offers online and in person workshops via her website- www.wendyannstangertextiles.uk

Along with paper making kits and plant dyed fabric packs to inspire your own projects.
